Castlecrag is a suburb on the lower North Shore of
Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia
8 kilometres north of the Sydney central business
district, in the local government area of the City of
Willoughby.
In the 2011 Australian census the population of
Castlecrag was 2,957 when there were 1,486
Females and 1,471 Males living there. The median
age for people living in Castlecrag was 41.
The Quadrangle Shopping Village in Edingburgh
Road features a IGA supermarket as of 2012 and
other specialty shops. A small group of shops is
located opposite.
Castlecrag is a rather affluent harbourside area of
Sydney.
