and is about 71 kms northwest of VIC's capital city
of Melbourne. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Carlsruhe was 456 when there were
211 Females and 245 Males living there. The
median age for people living in Carlsruhe was 42.
Carlsruhe is a small rural town in the Shire of
Macedon Ranges between Woodend and Kyneton,
alongside the old Calder Highway, although now
bypassed by the Calder Freeway. Carlsruhe is
approximately 50 minutes from both Melbourne
and Bendigo. At the 2011 census, Carlsruhe and
the surrounding area had a population of 456.
