Taperoo is a suburb in the Australian state of South
Australia located on the LeFevre Peninsula in the
west of Adelaide about 18 kilometres north-west of
the Adelaide city centre. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Taperoo was 3,123 when
there were 1,642 Females and 1,481 Males living
there. The median age for people living in Taperoo
was 40.
Taperoo is essentially a residential suburb, with a
minor harbourside presence on the eastern side
of the suburb.
