About Bridport
Bridport is a popular beachside holiday
destination, famous for its white sandy beaches,
coastal parks and bushland reserves, and
Barnbougle Dunes – one of the world's best
public golf courses and Australia's number one.
Overlooking Anderson Bay, Bridport offers
excellent river and sea fishing, bushwalking and
beach activities.
Bridport is a small town on the north-east coast
of Tasmania, Australia. It is part of the Dorset
Council. At the 2011 census, Bridport had a
population of 1,248.
Located on Anderson Bay, Bridport is a holiday
location with the population increasing
markedly in summer. It has beaches,
swimming, sailing and other water sports.

hotel, chemist, baker, butcher, clothing store,
golf courses, lawn bowls, sailing club, doctor's
