Rochedale is an outer southern suburb of the
City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is 17
kilometres south-east of the Brisbane central
business district.

Rochedale has expanded rapidly over the last 2
years. It used to be predominantly rural land
with boutique producers and nurseries
supplying to the local market. Developers and
builders have come into the suburb and are
building million dollar+ homes throughout the
new developments. Some of the new
communities comprise of lifestyle
entertainment centre, such as the Rochedale
Estates. There is also a new commercial
shopping centre underway and due for
completion by 2020.

The local schools serving the local community
are Rochedale State School, Rochedale State
High School, Redeemer Lutheran College, St
Peter’s Primary School. Some parts of the
northern area of Rochedale Estate comprise of
the catchment area for Mansfield State High
School.
