Swanbourne is a western coastal suburb and is
about 9 kms west-southwest of WA's capital city of
Perth. In the 2011 Australian census the population
of Swanbourne was 3,508 when there were 1,711
Females and 1,797 Males living there.
Swanbourne is an affluent, upper middle class
locale with older Federation style homes, many
being renovated. New housing estates have been
built recently through the redevelopment of areas
such as the Swanbourne Senior High School,
Swanbourne Primary School and Lakeway Drive-In
Cinema sites.
