Lynwood is a small southeastern suburb of Perth,
Western Australia. Its local government area is the
City of Canning.
Lynwood is about 11 kms southeast of WA's capital
city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Lynwood was 3,146 when there were
1,564 Females and 1,582 Males living there.
Lynwood is a residential suburb with a series of
parks connecting along Bannister Creek and
parallel to Nicholson Road. It contains a vibrant
neighbourhood shopping centre complete with
supermarket, post office, estate agency, and a
number of food outlets as well as community hall
and a primary school
