Yallambie is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria,
Australia, 16 km north-east from Melbourne's
Central Business District. Its local government
area is the City of Banyule. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Yallambie was 4,129 when
there were 1,977 Females and 2,152 Males living

Yallambie's residential population almost doubled
when a large parcel of reserved land behind the
barracks was converted to residential use
