Warneet is a town in Victoria, Australia, 54 km
south-east of Melbourne's central business district
at the head of the large bay of Western Port. Its
local government area is the City of Casey. At the
2011 census, Warneet had a population of 466.
Facilities include yacht club, several boat launch
facilities, general store, tennis court, oval and
recreation area.
Warneet has a general store about a 10-minute
walk from the main pier. The pier is known for its
fishing and there are many scenic walking tracks
along the beach and through the bushland.
