About Buckland
Buckland is a suburb of Northern Victoria, Victoria
and is about 200 kms east-northeast of VIC's
capital city of Melbourne.
Buckland comprised a series of gold-mining
settlements along the Buckland River in north-east
Victoria. The settlements were spread over about
30 km of the Buckland Valley, the most northerly
being Brookside, 8 km south-west of Bright.
