Buchan is a suburb of South Eastern Victoria,
Victoria and is about 284 kms east of VIC's capital
city of Melbourne. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Buchan was 385 when there were

Buchan is a small township set in the heart of
Gippsland mountain country north east of
Bairnsdale. The town of Buchan is situated
adjacent to the Buchan River, in the Shire of East
Gippsland, upstream from the river's junction with
the Snowy River.
