About Taranna
Taranna is a suburb of Tasmania, Tasmania and is
about 48 kms east-southeast of TAS's capital city of
Hobart. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Taranna was 275 when there were
121 Females and 154 Males living there. The median
age for people living in Taranna was 48.
Taranna is a tiny settlement on the road to Port
Arthur. Today its central attractions are the
excellent and genuinely interesting Tasmanian
Devil Conservation Park and the Federation
Chocolate factory.
