Jamestown is a suburb of Far North, South
Australia and is about 191 kms north of SA's capital
city of Adelaide. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Jamestown was 1,716 when there

Jamestown is on the banks of the Belalie Creek
and on the Crystal Brook-Broken Hill railway line
between Gladstone and Peterborough, and
ultimately on the main line linking Adelaide and
Perth to Sydney.
