and is about 236 kms northwest of SA's capital city
of Adelaide. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Cleve was 972 when there were 490
Females and 482 Males living there. The median
age for people living in Cleve was 41.
Cleve is a small agriculturally based town on
Central Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. It is 226
km southwest of Port Augusta and 143 km north of
Port Lincoln. Cleve is a hub for farmers and
suppliers on the Eyre Peninsula and hosts a field
day held each second year to offer the newest in
farming equipment and stock.
