About Berri
Berri is a town in the Riverland region of South
Australia. Berri is 238 kilometres north-east of
Adelaide, the capital of the state of South Australia.
It is primarily an agricultural and viticultural town
on the north bank of the Murray River.
Berri is surrounded by 3000 hectares of irrigated
vineyards and orchards. Berri plays host to some
of the largest wine production facilities in Australia.
Today Berri is known for its attractive riverfront
with floating wharf platforms, lookouts, historic
monuments, an indigenous bridge mural and
areas for picnics and sports activities.
