Tully is a suburb of Northern, Queensland and is
about 1286 kms northwest of QLD's capital city of
Brisbane.
In the 2011 Australian census the population of Tully
was 2,436 when there were 1,143 Females and
1,293 Males living there. The median age for
people living in Tully was 36.
Tully is a town and locality in the Cassowary Coast
Region, Queensland, Australia. Tully is adjacent to
the Bruce Highway approximately 140 kilometres
south of Cairns by road and 210 kilometres north
of Townsville. Tully is one of the larger towns of the
Cassowary Coast Region. The economic base of
the region is agriculture; sugar cane and banana
being the dominant crops grown.
Tully has the reputation of being one of the wettest
towns in Australia.
