Miallo is a suburb of Northern, Queensland and is
about 1462 kms northwest of QLD's capital city of
Brisbane. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Miallo was 426 when there were 206
Females and 220 Males living there. The median
age for people living in Miallo was 36.
The suburban area of Miallo is bounded by several
features of landscapes and waterscapes. A little
north of Mossman, the turnoff to the small
community of Miallo leads to the beautiful
Whyanbeel Valley with its many acres of sugar-
cane set against a lush backdrop of rainforested
hills.
