About Landsborough
Landsborough is a small town on the Sunshine
Coast hinterland of Queensland, Australia. It is
situated north of the Glasshouse Mountains just off
Steve Irwin Way, 82 kilometres north of Brisbane
at the base of the southern end of the Blackall
Range. At the 2011 census, Landsborough had a
population of 3,706
Landsborough is one of those towns which,
because it lies 20km inland from the coast, has
managed to retain much of its old world charm.
Today tourism has arrived and the surrounding
area has such popular attractions as the Big Kart
Track and Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo.
