About Dululu
Dululu is a small town in Central Queensland,
Australia, in northern Banana Shire. Dululu
sits at the junction of the Burnett and
Leichhardt highways, 70 kilometres (43 mi)
south-west of Rockhampton, Queensland and
610 kilometres (380 mi) north-west of Brisbane.
At the 2011 census, Dululu and the surrounding
area had a population of 139.
The nearest more populous place to Dululu is
the town of Mount Morgan which is 26km away
with a population of around 2,400.
Dululu is approximately 489 kilometres away
from the capital city of Sydney. Dululu was
originally named Bunerba but was later
changed to Dululu, which literally means "soft."
The suburban area of Dululu is bounded by
several features of landscapes and
waterscapes, such as Red Hill, Piebald Mountain
and The Black Range, to name a few.
