Wanguri is a suburb of Northern Territory,
Northern Territory and is about 11 kms north-
northeast of NT's capital city of Darwin. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Wanguri was
1,775 when there were 863 Females and 912 Males
living there. The median age for people living in
Wanguri was 36.
Wanguri was one of Darwin's northern suburbs
built before Cyclone Tracy in 1974. Major features
of Wanguri include the Wanguri Primary School
and Wanguri Park. Wanguri experienced a
decrease in population between 1996 and 2001.
