Wallalong is a suburb of Hunter Valley, New South
Wales. In the 2011 Australian census the population
of Wallalong was 938 when there were 468
Females and 470 Males living there. The median
age for people living in Wallalong was 33.
Situated in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South
Wales, the suburban community of Wallalong is
approximately 137 kilometres away from the
capital city of Sydney. Wallalong is under the local
government area of the Port Stephens Council.
Although largely rural, Wallalong is seeing
increased residential and commercial
development in order to become a new town
centre in the Hunter region.
