About Tooma
Tooma is a suburb of Regional NSW, New South
Wales and is about 371 kms southwest of NSW's
capital city of Sydney. In the 2011 Australian census
the population of Tooma was 336 when there were
160 Females and 176 Males living there. Tooma is a
village community in the eastern part of the
Riverina and situated about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi)
east from Welaregang and 34 kilometres (21 mi)
south from Tumbarumba.
Tooma is in the valley of the Tooma River, not far
from its confluence with the Murray River.
