About Huntley
Huntley is a suburb of South Coast, New South
Wales and is about 84 kms south-southwest of
NSW's capital city of Sydney. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Huntley was 307 when
there were 144 Females and 163 Males living there.
The Huntley is being developed on land near the
escarpment six kilometres west of Dapto, some of
which was used in conjunction with the Huntley
Colliery, which closed in 1989. Huntley's unique
features are that it is being built around a
spectacular golf course and surrounded by the
beautiful landscape of the escarpment.’’
