the Berrigan Shire local government area.
At the 2006 census, Finley had a population of
1,921 people.
The town of Finley is located approximately 140
kilometres west of Albury on the intersection of
the Newell Highway and Riverina Highways.
Finley is a quiet Riverina town which acts as an
important service centre for the Berriquin
Irrigation Area that surrounds it. The Finley district
supplies wool, wheat, fat lambs, rice, dairy
products, vegetables, cereals, canola, cattle and
pigs to the Sydney and Melbourne markets.
