About Corndale
Corndale is a small suburban town located in the
local government area of the Lismore City Council
in the state of New South Wales. Corndale is
within the Clunes-Bexhill and District, which is
mainly a rural region. Settlement in Corndale
and in neighbouring areas began in the mid-
1800s.
Corndale, (postcode 2480) is 140 kms South of
Brisbane and 14 kms NE of Lismore.
Dairy farming and logging were the primary uses
for the land area during that time. Today, much of
the surrounding land is being used for industries
such as coffee farming and
macadamia growing.
