Turner (postcode: 2612) is a leafy early Canberra
suburb, close to Canberra City and the Australian
National University (located in the suburb of
Acton).

In the 2011 census, the population of Turner was
3,595, including 41 (1.1%) Indigenous persons and
2,217 (61.7%) Australian-born persons.
