Thornlie is a large outer suburb of Perth, located
18 kilometres south-east of the city's central
business district.
In the 2011 Australian census the population of
Thornlie was 22,965 when there were 11,557
Females and 11,408 Males living there.
Thornlie is part of the City of Gosnells local
government area. The Canning River runs through
the northern side of Thornlie.
