Mount Claremont is a suburb of Perth, Western
Australia and is about 8 kms west of WA's capital
city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Mount Claremont was 4,375 when
there were 2,301 Females and 2,074 Males living
there.
Mount Claremont, known previously as Graylands,
is located within the Town of Cambridge and the
City of Nedlands.
Mount Claremont contains Challenge Stadium,
the Western Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS),
Graylands Hospital, John XXIII College, Wollaston
Theological College and lands owned by the
University of Western Australia.
