Australia and is about 381 kms south-southeast of
WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of King River was 284 when
there were 133 Females and 151 Males living there.
King River is a small town in the Great Southern
region of Western Australia. The closest populated
town is Albany.
The town takes its name from the King River which
is located nearby, another town, Lower King that is
further down river on Oyster Harbour.
