Dongara is a suburb of South East & Central,
Western Australia and is about 313 kms north-
northwest of WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Dongara was
1,352 when there were 675 Females and 677 Males
living there.
Dongara is a town on the Brand Highway. Dongara
is located at the mouth of the Irwin River. The area
has been marketed as the 'Rock lobster capital of
Australia'.
