Cable Beach is a suburb of Northern, Western
Australia and is about 1684 kms north-northeast of
WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011 Australian
census the population of Cable Beach was 5,158
when there were 2,618 Females and 2,540 Males
living there.
Cable Beach is a 22 km (14 mi) stretch of white
sand beach on the eastern Indian Ocean about 6
km (3.7 mi) west of Broome, Western Australia.
