Bayonet Head is a suburb of South Western,
Western Australia and is about 387 kms south-
southeast of WA's capital city of Perth. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Bayonet Head
was 2,490 when there were 1,267 Females and
1,223 Males living there.
Bayonet Head is an outer north-eastern suburb of
Albany, Western Australia, on the west bank of
Oyster Harbour. Its local government area is the
City of Albany. Bayonet Head is a residential
suburb, although large areas of native bushland
can be found in the centre and along Yakamia
Creek.
