Lang Lang is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria and is
about 72 kms southeast of VIC's capital city of
Melbourne. In the 2011 Australian census the
population of Lang Lang was 1,345 when there
were 679 Females and 666 Males living
there. The median age for people living in Lang
Lang was 38.

Its local government area is the Shire of Cardinia.

The Lang Lang village is just off the South
Gippsland Highway near its intersection with the
Bass Highway, on the Lang Lang River and is the
centre of the largest asparagus growing region in
the southern hemisphere, and also caters to beef
and dairy farming.
