Millicent is a town in South Australia, 399
kilometres (248 mi) south-east of Adelaide, and 50
kilometres (31 mi) north of Mount Gambier. In the
2011 census, the population of Millicent was 5,024.
Close by is Lake Bonney SE which is home to South
Australia's largest wind turbine farm. Millicent is
also home to the man-made lake, Lake McIntyre,
a native bird and wildlife reserve.
